The Industry Costing Templates are based on the principles of the NHS Finance Manual and provide transparency, greater consistency and predictability on costing for companies.
The Industry Costing Templates are used for all studies irrespective of adoption status by the NIHR.
The templates have been developed and piloted in a collaborative process involving the NHS and industry stakeholders. They will be reviewed and updated, as required, in the light of broader experience.
